Rock Creek Park, Washington, DC : Rock Creek Park is a 1,700 acre national park that preserves a large swath of forest in the middle of Washington, D.C. We live one block from its boundary and enjoy the park in a number of ways: hiking, walking, skiing, biking, kayaking. We help maintain the hiking trails as volunteers.
